For the love of a Viola d'Amore

In February 2020 Evergreen Ensemble and Shane Lestideau launched a crowd-funding campaign to enable the commissioning of a beautiful 7-string viola d'amore from the French-English luthier Daniel Ross. Thanks to the support of many generous friends, as well as an additional grant from the Robert Salzer Foundation, we were successful! and the instrument has already begun to be made in Dan's workshop in Brittany, France.
