I am so excited to let you know about a visit to Australia by Chris Norman and David Greenberg this November 2015.

David GREENBERG – Cape Breton fiddle, Baroque violin
Chris Norman is internationally-celebrated, multi award-winning traditional and classical flute and smallpipes performer, teacher, maker and recording artist. David Greenberg is acclaimed baroque violinist (formerly of Tafelmusik) and fiddler in the Cape Breton and 18th-century Scottish styles. Chris and David come from Nova Scotia, Canada, where there is a rich tradition and practice of Celtic, Canadian maritime and classical music. Chris is also Artistic Director of his renowned summer-school, Boxwood Festival. Boxwood Festival Australia offers a weekend of immersion in traditional music with tutors Chris Norman and David Greenberg. Classes, sessions, an evening performance, a ceilidh, great meals and accommodation are included. With a focus on Scottish, Irish, Cape Breton and early music, the deep connections between music, song and dance are at the heart of the program for this extraordinary weekend.
